這是星光列車新版的情歌.

比起舊版Only He中, Pearl個人心中掙扎的描寫, 到最後她決定留住Rusty, 這首更強調Rusty跟Pearl對過去的懷念.
但也少了Pearl內心戲的"過程與發展"...
我當然是比較喜歡舊版, 無論就歌者或者歌詞意境上.
另帶一提, 這首旋律最初韋伯是用在Cats中演員貓Gas飾演的海盜上的!

儘管歌者差強人意, 但旋律還是優美, 我也非常非常的喜歡裡頭的一句話---
"My first love was my true love and it should have been my last."
這是多麼, 多麼的浪漫哪~~~!!!
記得我二八年華少女時哪, 對這句話很嚮往, 是夢一般憧憬.

至於副歌next time you fall in love, it better be with me just like it used to be...部分, 我滿喜歡德文版的歌詞:
"Fragst du mich noch einmal, dann sage ich wieder ja, wie als frueher war...(Ask me one more time, then I'll say yes again, just like it used to be...)"

這次看了兩場都深深覺得, 飾Rusty的德國演員Jamie Golding有著很不錯的歌喉, 乾脆找他來錄怎麼樣...
